STANSFIELD VILLAGE
INAUGURAL LONG DISTANCE RIDE
Sunday morning 5th July 2009
Enjoy some of South West Suffolk’s finest scenery and views
• The route comprises bridleways, field margins, farm tracks and quiet lanes around the parishes of Stansfield, Cavendish, Poslingford and towards Hundon.
• A choice of approximately 8 or 15 miles. The route will be clearly marked.
• Start times will be between 8.00 am and 12.00 noon (those riding the longer distance to start first).
• Horses must be 4 years old or over.
• An adult must accompany juniors aged between 8 and 13.
• A hard hat of PAS 015, BSEN 1384, EN 1384 or ASTM F1163 standard and appropriate footwear must be worn.
• No cyclists to accompany riders.
• No dogs
• The organisers, stewards, helpers & landowner’s cannot accept liability for accidents, damage, injury or illness to riders, spectators or any other person, property, servants, animals or horses/ponies in connection with or arising out of this ride. All riders & persons attending the ride do so at their own risk. It shall be a condition of entry that each entrant shall indemnify the organisers against any legal action arising from any accidents or incidents whatsoever. Riders will provide their own third party liability insurance to the value of £5,000,000. By signing this form you accept these terms and conditions, recognising that this is a risk sport and confirming that you have the competence to undertake the ride.
• A copy of the rules will be on display at the ride or can be obtained in advance by request.
• Places will be strictly limited.
• Entry Fees £12.00 Under 13 £8.00
• Entries received after the closing date will be subject to a late entry surcharge of £5.
