Biomechanics in The ridden horse and the influence of rider & saddlery.
With David Kempsall, inventor & manufacturer of WOW saddles & Flair.
It is a general view in the modern world that no single facet of riding can be looked at in isolation to all others. With this holistic view in mind First Thought Equine develops & produces equipment designed to enhance performance by addressing a full range of issues in the horse & rider including asymmetry & balance.
The objective of this workshop is to present an overview of how saddle fit affects both horse & rider & provide discussion points for assessing saddles.
Theoretical & practical demonstrations will create a framework to address saddlery & conformational issues that may impinge on horse & rider combinations while making suggestions for improvements for progressive developement in skills & performance.
Instructors & coaches are frequently called upon to assist in assessing saddle fit & advise on saddle purchases. This clinic will provide you with an additional set of tools to assist you. All too often we know what it is we want to do but are not able to.
WOW saddles & associated equipment will be used in this presentation however the ideology & methods are applicable to all saddlery products. Instructors, coaches, riders & equine professionals interested in good ideas & logical solutions should take advantage of this free event.
